A Note From Anita Devlin
I happen to know first-hand, that life is messy. This is why I do what I do.
I don’t just step into people's closets, I step into their lives. My years of work in the recovery/addiction field have sensitized me to family dynamics and stressful situations such as major lifestyle changes. I have co -authored a book and spoken around the country as a national recovery advocate and a speaker for change. As a result, I have learned how to detect and break down barriers before they become impediments to the tasks at hand.
My book tour was called “No Room for Judgment” because I understand how people feel vulnerability and shame about not being in order, whether it’s in their lives or in their homes and closets. I’ve always proclaimed that vulnerability is a strength and not a weakness because it takes more strength to ask for help than to remain silent. I know first hand that when you reach out for help, the magic starts to happen.
It doesn’t matter if it is emotional or physical “stuff” that’s overwhelming, one thing is for certain, clearing clutter creates clarity. That’s when I step in to help conquer the daunting task at hand and actually create an atmosphere that makes it fun. One look at our videos and testimonials, and you will see we work really hard, but have so much fun getting it done!
